Choose the right Influence

Glory to God, this Saturday was an important message for the youth group, Pastor Nova was teaching the youth group about how important it is to be careful with the media that the kids have access to because the wrong videos can have a bad influence on the kids. Certain videos and pictures can be very explicit and inappropriate for the kids to view and can leave unwanted memories in their head. Pastor Nova was also saying how it's important to choose your friends wisely because they could also influence you to watch and do the wrong things.

Pastor Nova also had a lesson based on procrastination and how we shouldn't wait until the last moment to do a task because it could hurt us in the future. Pastor Nova was explaining that although correction doesn't feel good at first, it's important to correct because it will help us learns from our mistakes. Pastor Nova was also explaining that there's a quote in the bible that explains the early bird gets the worm. In Hebrew chapter 12 verse 11 it says, "No discipline seems pleasant at the time but painful. Later on, however it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it".
