Grateful!

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

If we apply these verses in our daily lives, we will find satisfaction!

Rejoice always: Most of the time we only become rejoice when something big happens. When we get an increase in our paycheck, when we buy a new car, when we buy the dream house that we wish but sometimes we forget to rejoice with the things that seem to be small but are truly valuable like having food to eat, having children and that they are healthy. Sometimes we forget all the blessings that our heavenly father has given us because we are focused on what others have. We forget that we have everything with God. When we have God in our lives nothing is missing. To wake up and see a new day is a great reason to rejoice.

“As sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.” 2 Corinthians 6:10

Pray without ceasing: Like mothers and wives is necessary that were constant in prayers and asking the Lord to guide us to be able to be a helper to our husband. To be able to raise our children according to the Will of God. We need to ask God to teach us to love how he loves us. Our relationship with God is important to be able to complete the role that God has assigned us as mothers and wives and also, we need to remember to seek him when we need consolation, direction, and motivation.

Give thanks in all: The key is to give thanks in all, in the good and the bad moments, including in the bad moments we need to give thanks because we have a God who is sovereign, who has control of all. Even if we do not like the situation, he will guide our steps the Lord will not leave us nor forget us. Whatever is the will of God, is good and perfect for us even though we do not realize it. We need to be grateful because in whatever situation we're going through, God is working for our good.
